Karine graduated law school in May 2024 and prides herself in her journalism background. Karine took a break from her multi-media journalist career to pursue a law degree with plans to merge her two passions together. Karine is licensed to practice law in California, and hopes to use her knowledge as an attorney to advocate for those who have a story to tell. Karine is also a creative and tenacious multi-platform journalist who is able to pitch, shoot, and edit her own news stories. Her enthusiasm for reporting mixed with her knowledge of the law creates a journalistic powerhouse. Karine hopes to use her legal knowledge to accurately report on law, politics, and crime. Karine is also driven to represent her community in a unique way, unlike traditional storytelling.

 

As a reporter and producer, Karine takes pride in delivering real-time community news, hard news, features and other events with passion.

 

Karine's skills include working under pressure in a deadline-intensive, around-the-clock environment.

 

Karine's on-air career as a Multi-Media Journalist kicked off in Omaha, Nebraska at CBS affiliate KMTV. Before leaving for the Midwest, Karine worked in her hometown of Los Angeles, and assisted in producing for ABC’s Good Morning America, World News Tonight with David Muir, Nightline and 20/20. When she was not assisting in producing, Karine was working on the assignment desk.
